So, what happened? Would you still recommend it?
Was the Eva Solo never as great as the original review suggested? Was it just hype, where the coffee world moved onto the newest, shiniest coffee accessory and soon forgot the Eva Solo?

No, James Hoffmann, Jesse Raub, and others liked it, for example (link). I can still get Solo brews at two local cafes here in Baltimore, so it's not like this thing has fallen off the map!
