So I bought a vintage Inland Coffee treasure chest today. I can find nothing on it and know nothing about it. I knew it was rare and a vacuum coffee maker. It has a cory filter and four decanters. Does anyone know anything about this and why there is NO information anywhere on it and I cannot find them anywhere online. I have enclosed a picture of it, I thought it was a great buy, especially in the condition with all pieces.
I don't know how "rare" it is, vac pots are pretty common. Without a maker it is hard to say much about it other than it is a vac pot. They make great coffee and other than espresso, it is my fav way to make coffee.
Congrats on the pick up!

Yes, sorry about the confusion, it is made by Inland (a company that no longer exists). My questions are not about vacuum pots, but about this particular "pleasure chest" set. It is a huge box with four decanters all hand blown glass and the box says it is decorated with platinum.
My guess is that you know more about it than just about anyone here will. I am sure that there were a lot of sets produced over the last 100 years and to most here, it is just a coffee pot. If you are really into collecting (we are into using) then a forum or user group for collectors may be able to give you more info.
