Has anyone out there heard anything about or tried this brewer? I personally have never used Capresso brand brewers so I have no experience with it at all. Says it brews at the optimal temp at above 200 degrees---brews single cup coffee in 60 seconds, or remove cup tray then insert glass carafe for brewing 42oz of coffee in less than 6 mins OR brews tea. It has separate tea and coffee filters so there's no flavor transfer. This seems to be a real All-In-One for convenience of quick, fresh single cup (no K-cups) OR multiple cups (carafe) using your own fresh ground coffee, or tea. Has a removable 52oz reservoir, is programable for single small cup, large cup coffee/tea or carafe, filters are dishwasher safe and has a small footprint too. I need to look at the manual as I question the filter and how it may effect coffee flavor quality or not (I use paper, sometimes gold).
I love my Bonavita but have wondered what might be out there for brewing quick, convenient single cups w/fresh ground coffee at proper brewing temp for proper extraction.

A quick look at the manual... single cups can be brewed from 2-10oz small or 5-10oz large. Using the carafe you are locked in to a full 42oz and can not reprogram that at all SO no flexibility there.

Wow, what a "fast food/drive thru" mentality I have. Since the carafe setting on this Capresso is permanent at 42oz I'm probably better off just taking a few minutes to brew a single, large cup of coffee with a Clever Dripper or Handy Brew. Was attracted to having a great All-In-One machine but would not want to be locked in to brewing an entire 42oz when needing multiple cups.
