Any thoughts on the new Breville YouBrew? I was planning on getting the new Bonavita Drip machine that will be available soon, but since I have sent numerous emails with questions about two of their products and not getting any replies, I think I am going for the YouBrew. It has more functions that would be useful to me also. The YouBrew is for sale at Williams Sonoma and should be at other retailers in a week or so..

If you read through the manual, the somewhat abstracted brew variable controls become more clear. You pay the Breville tax, but it strikes me as a beautiful, useful machine. I'd go this route if I needed an auto-drip machine. I am the only coffee drinker, and still prefer a manual pour-over since I have the time.

Beautiful machine. A jet engine makes less noise than that grinder though. For that price they need to build a soundproof wall around that thing. Here's a test run from Seattle Coffee Gear:

Hi everyone!
I picked up my Youbrew last night @ W-S. It is built like a tank! Much more robust than my Capresso Teamluxe that finally crapped out after five years. The entire exterior is clad in stainless steel. The grinder sounds slightly less noisy than my Capresso and is not at all unpleasant. And it also makes a great cup of coffee. What sold me is its ablility to brew a single cup.

Got mine too and LOVE it! I dont find the grinder loud at all either. Best machine I have seen so far. Makes a great cup of coffee and the single cup option is awesome!

Any comments on the strength of the coffee? I'm so close to pulling the trigger on this, but I've been worried about reviews saying that the coffee from the grinder turns out uneven and weak.
