I've been looking at the XS90 and like the features. I haven't seen many "pro" reviews on consumer automatics, although this model might be the entry level in their pro line.
I know I'm not going to get what I could out of a manual. I do have a Baby Gaggia that I got in the 90s and still like. But when I'm telecommuting or even entertaining, I don't feel like being a Barista. I'd rather focus on work or the guests.
What I don't want is a machine that functions when it wants to and when it doesn't, bleeds me to keep it running. So reliability is high on my list.
I like to hear from Jura higher-end machine owners about their reliability, repair costs, etc. Please name your specific model. Thanks.

Oh, please mention any experiences with customer support. I tried to call their help line (800-767-3554) this morning during their open hours and stayed in the queue until it rolled over to leaving a message. Three times in a row. Not very reassuring.

I have had two expenses Jura's before I came to the light. As long as they were under the factory coverage my experience with them was OK. Now I had to send it in to often and at the end of the day I through 4K worth of Jura machines in the trash can. The very best you can produce on a Jura won't come close to what you can achieve on a semi or full auto machine. If you can't be changed from the "dark side" get use to seeing "ERROR 8" in your sleep. Don't use oily beans and don't grind fine.
You know those people that want to tell you how to raise your kids but have none of their own? That is how i feel when someone with a kitchen appliance tells me how the merits or dis-merits of my machine or how to use it.
