Checked it again this morning.  Still not steaming.  Intermittant problems are the worst!  Temperature was 202F again.  Brew time was 6 minutes to add all the water, 7 minutes for grounds to quit dripping.  Still haven't heard back from Technivorm.

I mentioned this in a previous post and think its worth mentioning again.  Have you checked for power fluctuations in your home?   Having such influences heating coils.

Power fluctuations are unlikely.  Haven't seen any other evidence of power fluctuations.  We have very clean and stable power in this area.

Hello.  Did you ever determine the cause of the temp fluctuation issue?

I haven't seen the problem in over a week now,  I wonder if there was a blockage that broke loose and resolved itself.  I am disappointed in Technivorm's customer support, however.  After three calls, and three promises to call me back, I still haven't heard from them.  Even if they couldn't figure it out, I think they should have called to tell me that.

Still kind of bizarre.  I believe you first referenced that the water was coming out fine.  A blockage would have caused an issue there?  How has the ambient temperature been this past week (where the TV is working fine) compared to a couple weeks ago when you were having the issue?  Possibly another variable that had affecting operation?

Weather has been rainy the last week, so humidity is up.  Coffee hasn't come out hot and thin like when it was steaming.
