I made a custom machine a while back that works like the trifecta. While playing with a V60 pour-over and having the other machine apart to replace some acrylic parts that didn't hold up to well, I came up with this. In essence the machine provides a measurable amount of water at a specific PID controlled temperature. More importantly, I can raise the temperature above boiling since I am at an altitude where water boils at 200F. I modified the measuring spoon from the V60 with a small hole, then suspended it above the V60. There is also enough room to move it for adjusting the spread of water. So far it works great.
