I tried a "Brazilian natural pulped bourbon" the other day....what does pulped mean, and what difference does it make? What's the process? We're curious.... thanks!

Good question, peregrina.
pulped natural = the coffee fruit is depulped, meaning the skin is stripped off, and then the mucilagey beans are dried.
Some other methods are: washed = the coffee fruit is depulped, and then the mucilage is "washed" off the beans, and then the beans are dried. natural = the coffee fruits are allowed to dry whole.

Someone I know went on a trip to a coffee farm in Brazil and sent me their photos to use on my Wiki. I have interpreted them and provided some details of the Washed Pulped natural process commonly used in Brazil. I think the photos give a nice clear overview of the process.
