I have a Krupps Moka Brew which is a few years old now. I don't use it daily, but I've noticed that the inside of the brew basket has been stained by the coffee. I've tried scrubbing, but it doesn't help. Does this affect the taste of the coffee at all? I haven't noticed anything foul tasting, but was wondering if the top needed to be replaced? Krupps sells the whole glass carafe with lid for about $50.
