For gift baskets, I am trying to purchase 2 oz gift packs of Kona coffee. Can anyone recommend a coffee company/plantation in Hawaii that produces the best Kona coffee in Hawaii. I am looking a pure Kona coffee not a blend.

I buy green kona beans from Smithfarms but they will sell roasted beans or ground roasted kona in 1 or 1/2 lb. bags at very reasonable prices. There are many kona farms in Hawaii but I found this small family farm to be a winner. Their extra fancy (peaberry) bean has sold out but their estate grade run is still 100x better than any blend you'll ever buy. Prices go up a dollar/lb. 9/1/08 due to the price of oil these days but still more affordable than most:

The best 100% Kona I ever had is www.HulaDaddy.com . The beans are absolutely spectacular looking, and make a beautiful roast. Also very pleasant people to deal with.

Aloha Cea! I was a 1st time buyer of 2# around 8/10. The kona beans were fabulous and went through that 1st pound in short order. I'm saving the other pound for that special occasion but the temptation may be too great, LOL. Regardless, I'll be back for more ;-)
