Gary, as you are sure to see by now, instant isn't good regardless of who makes it. Would you rather have a card board McDonnalds hamburger or a Filet from Ruth Chriss steak house? Such is the difference between Instant and fresh, only there is even more of a quality difference than that.

instant coffee...really...you mean that freeze dried swill that comes in a can in the grocery store? I can't remember ever thinking that was anywhere near drinkable, even when I first started drinking anything that remotely resembled coffee.
I myself am used to the Fresh Jamaican Blue Mountain Bean so I absolutely understand that fresh beans are better. I havent done the research on the beans used for instant coffee. I do know that majority of the american population has no idea the difference between fresh roasted beans and the folgers or maxwell $5 Can! Cost efficiancy will always be in the front of the average consumers mind. We also live in a fastfood and microwave society and mentality. The average consumer wants their coffee fast like they want their sausage busicuit fast!! Hahha. I like you guys are not the average consumer.
If you did have to choose an instant coffee, which would you refer somone to who was not interested in the process you all endure to enjoy a good cup??
