I called Mr Coffee company to ask when and if they plan on using bpa-free plastic in their coffee makers, and they said they already do. They do not state this on their packaging, though. I asked the representative on the phone why, and she said she didn't know. So are they bpa-free, or not?? Cuisinart is the only company so far besides Keurig, that make their products bpa-free.

I'm with iroast. If it doesn't state in writing that it's BPA free then I too would assume it could contain BPA, irrespective of any telephone conversation.

"YOUR COFFEE BEANS MAKE MY DAY. I HAVE LOTS OF LIFE TROUBLES AND WHEN I MAKE A COFFEE ON MY SAECO FULLY AUTOMATIC ESPRESSO MACHINE, I KNOW I HAVE BETTER COFFEE THAN EVEN STARBUCKS. ACTUALLY, I DRINK LESS STARBUCKS NOW THAT I HAVE YOUR ESPRESSO DECAF. I HAVE IT IN THE EVENING TOO. IT TASTES GREAT."
