I inherited a Micro coffee pot from my parents. The rubber gasket on it is splitting. I remember my dad having to replace it many years ago. How do I replace it? What company would sell the parts to these coffee pots these days, does anyone know?

Micro or Nicro? If you have the all stainless Nicro vacuum pot just put a layer of saran wrap around the rubber gasket ( on bottom of top chamber) and then press as usual into the bottom chamber. It will provide a good seal and last about 2 weeks of everyday use. When it wears out just do same thing again with new wrap. Saran wrap is cheap. Chock up another use for the greatest invention ever, according to the infamous 2000 year old man:
"Coffee leads men to trifle away their time, scald their chops, and spend their money, all for a little base, black, thick, nasty, bitter, stinking nauseous puddle water." ~The Women's Petition Against Coffee, 1674
