Posted Sat Oct 5, 2013, 10:33am Subject: Can I use the Filtron ground guard in the Toddy?
The subject pretty much says it all. I recently got the Toddy cold brew system and have been enjoying it very much. My only complaint so far is that the grounds seem to float up to the top of the reservoir instead of staying submerged in the water, and I see that Filtron's system has a ground guard to deal with just that issue. What I cannot seem to find though, is the dimensions of the Filtron or its ground guard. I would buy the guard and use it in my Toddy if I could determine if it would fit. Does anyone out there have both units, or access to both of them who would be willing to tell me if I could use Filtron's ground guard in my Toddy. If this does not work, does anyone have a solution to this issue with the Toddy? Does anyone have an alternative approach?
