Hi, I am having a problem with my Gaggia. I set up custom coffee volumes for my cups and it works perfectly. Then a few weeks later it will randomly change the amount back to defaults. Is there a battery that stores this information? I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

I am sure that if someone had an answer for you, they would have spoke up.
You will find very few people here who use Super Automatics, we like to be more involved with our coffee than those machines allow you to be. There are a couple of members who work on them for the public and if they happen to see the thread, they might be able to help you.

Are you certain it's resetting? The flowmeter and pcb monitor this. Try setting your volumes using the pre ground button, but add no coffee (also useful for daily rinsing). Then when you think it's acting up, you can test the volume out put by running the shots in pre ground mode again. Be sure to use a measuring device of some kind, if not a graduated shot glass. The machine measures water volume input, not coffee output. Hence best measure is with no espresso.
