Big ups and congrats to the Beard for his fantastic showing and what is no doubt some spectacular coffee provided by Anette and coaching from James! Stephen Morrissey is YOUR 2008 World Barista Champion!

Also huge ups to Dave "TheKillah" Makin, awesome showing, he's a superstar.

I'm gutted for Mike and the vacpot failure. While that in itself didn't do him in (he recovered nicely), still you want everything to be perfect in the comp, and Mike did us all proud here in Canada and in Vancouver.

Daniel - what can I say - a true Gentleman Barista, someone I'd be ecstatic to get a shot from in any cafe around the world.

Lies, I have never met you, but was blown away by your grace and professionalism.

Soren, I can say the same for you. You represented Denmark exceedingly well, and are a true champion.

Mark
