It's A Grind has several franchise locations across the country so maybe somebody knows what coffee they are using for espresso.

All they could tell me at the store was that it came from "somewhere good", possibly in Seattle.

Anybody have more detailed info?

Hi Jay,
It's a Grind started out in Long Beach - pretty close to where I live.  Unfortunately their supplier Dillanos Cofee only sells bulk coffee to businesses.  I dont know why it would be such a secret... unless you are opening a competing coffee shop ;)

I do like their espresso blend and buy from It's a Grind quite often as they are close and their prices are reasonable.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. I contacted the main office and all they would tell me is that it's roasted "in the state of Washington".

I don't see why it should be a secret anyway between roasting your own and access to many top notch roasters obtaining good coffee isn't really a problem.  I was just trying to figure out what coffee they served.

Anyway, thanks for the info my curiosity can now wander over to some other area :)
