I tried it once,I like their Capre Ballanti better. The CB is a little darker roast with more aftertaste than the BV.Both are very good. They ship day of roast,so it arrives very fresh. They have have a code for free shipping over $30 in their most recent newsletter.

Bella Vita makes a lovely espresso blend, booming chocolates, great balance, excellent in milk. The website writeup says northern Italian style, but it's roasted a bit darker than e.g. Paradise Espresso Classico.
I ordered 5#'s of green, and 1# of roasted yesterday....Bryan at PT's is a great guy... Sometimes I just like to try different stuff. Bryan mentioned they post blend (which I figured), so I suspect I'll not be able to duplicate the professionally done roast, but it's always fun to try! I'll keep y'all posted.

John....just about everything (other than Terrior) is darker than Classico...Classico is a very elegant blend..roasted it green, and had the pro version. A touch of robusta, but not habit forming!....lol BTW, I assume you used the WDT to pull that beautiful shot????...lol I often use, and highly recommend that method, especially for triples....a MUST for NOOBS...talk about building confidence! If I wasn't so lazy, I'd post that HB link to your Thread. Anyone newer espresso junkies need to try John's terrific aid to distribution.

Got that right (about the Paradise Espresso Classico). I went through a bag of PEC just before diving into PT's Bella Vita. Both are highly regarded medium roast Northern Italian blends, so it seemed a good point of comparison. Hope you enjoy the BV as much as I did!
Let us know how your home roasts with BV turn out. I've gotten decent results with PEC green, but not on par with Miguel's magic at Paradise Roasters.
