OK, OK...I'm getting some really nice comments about the blends from many of you...all private. Go ahead and tell us what you think of the taste...the nuance(s)...the mouthfeel...the aftertaste...etc.  As far as the bags and the re-seal tape and such non-blend related items, these will all be worked out.

I just got word that my "roast Date" stamp has been shipped and will begin to use it as soon as it arrives.

Am planning to send out beans to:
  1. Drobb < too few posts @ 9
  2. ljcoffeeguy
  3. PhilosoGeek
  4. Jmanespresso
  5. zin1953
  6. roastaroma (thanks Joel!)
  7. BoldJava

hmmm...perhaps I will wait and have these beans roasted after the 4th, i.e. next week. They will be sent the day they are roasted!

That is "roastaroma".

FWIW, tape aside, I really like the look and feel of the bags.

Folks since Len has asked for more public reports I've made two new threads for the reviews and tips on these blends.  One thread for each blend.  I wanted to make new threads in the Cafe and Bean Review section to keep this thread focused on Len's offer rather than it turn into a bean review thread.  Okay having said that the reviews can be posted in the proper threads below:

"Len's Blends: #5"

"Len's Blends: FTO"

Please use these threads for any feedback, tips or questions you have about the specific blend (per Len's request) and please do not post reviews to this thread.  Thanks to all and especially Len for such a nice offer!

Len, Im very excited!  You said you might wait until the weekend is over to roast them.. that timing is perfect.  I worried if I got them too soon Id have too much coffee....oh wait.. nvmd :)

Im leaving for vacation on the 13'th, but my setup is coming with me.. So Ill likely be taking at least some of the blends with me.  I will surely write up a review of my thoughts,, and i might be able to include some "non-snobs" comments.. IE: my family.  They drink coffee, but its far from a hobby for them :)

I cant wait to try these.. they sound DELISH!!

Thanks again Len!!

Len just want to verify that you've received my shipping information?  I'm anxious to try these out, no hurry, just excited (on my end) thanks again for the very kind offer.

Hey, come on guys (Cathi already posted some comments), tell me what you think. How do my blends compare to:
  1. Your prefered blend, and
  2. To other "top" blends you have tried?

Len,

I sent you some private notes to your email address.  Just want to verify that you received them?
