Anyone heard of them, they are out of WA state? I just noted one of the road side espresso stands in my area is using them. They are the only stand that has crema on the top of an espresso that I have sampled so far. However it burned my mouth so I believe their machines are too hot.

God forbid you wait for the coffee to cool... I kid, I kid!
B&B usually gets pretty high marks, at least in terms of their beans. I'm not privy to any particular cafe reviews, but I've had their Dancing Goats blend, and goodness is it tasty! Were they preheating cups, did you notice? I am tempted to doubt they're running their machines too hot (Jason Dominy, former chair of the Barista Guild of America, works with them), but perhaps overheated the serving vessel. I'd wager if you return and mention your experience, they'd try to accommodate you better next time.
This was not their store, this was a road side coffee stand in OR in a paper cup. They are just using those beans and in all fairness to them, they had crema on the espresso. That is more than I say for most I have tried so far. I never tried to drink plain espresso before I started making it myself. I am testing my own espresso out of a heated cup right after the pull, and I am not burning myself. (then I dump it in milk) Which is why it surprised me, and it was not just a little hot, I was still feeling a burnt mouth hours later.
I am glad you said you liked the blend. I will go back and maybe talk them into selling me a lb of beans. (that is the real reason for my question I am looking for good beans I don't have to pay shipping on.)

+2 on the Dancing Goats. I attending a gathering in Atlanta (3 years ago), where B&B have a facility as well It is excellent as a drip-brewed. I've not tasted it as espresso.
I just called B&B, for grins. Wanted to see if they had a discounted price on 5lb orders. $14.95 a # is certainly fair, and they custom roast, so the coffee would be within 4-5 days old, depending on where you are. I'm checking to see if they can ship from Atlanta, for us East coasters.
Even being a veteran home roaster, I ALWAYS order at least 30 #'s of coffee from various Roasting companies, so I can better judge where I am...and coffee is usually excellent.
EDIT....If I order, I would be happy to start a Dancing Goats thread in the espresso Forum. CG rules suggest we review a coffee, such as in our Espresso Forum, so we can stay on one coffee. Or we can just continue here. I'll keep y'all posted.
Works for me, but i see no problem mentioning a few other coffees they feature, as long as keep the discussion to espresso use. So, you're a Sr. now! Well, I'll have 10 years in this place come July 4th.
Fresh blood keeps this place humming, but I so happy when we keep our long time members, they're like family to me....well, almost.
