There is a guy on ebay selling baskets you put on your rotisserie and fill with coffee or peanuts and roast in your BBQ outside. He has everything from 5lb to 1/2 lb baskets. Anyone tried this?

helen, this is a long time method. Many members are doing so, or have tried this. Your's truly included. When you have the right motor (about 60 rpm, I believe) and the correct grill it can do a fine job. Thing is, the expensive Weber type's don't work well. The cheap Charmglow type, $129 girls, with 40k btu, and a bit on the shallow side work best. In other words, the heat source is not so far away from the beans as to make for long or stalled roasts.
