I picked up a bag of Keynote from Chromatic with my last order of Gamut Espresso, based on the description of the flavor profile, thinking I'd either use it in Aeropress, Espro press or my Duetto.  However, they actually don't mention on their site or on the bag which brew method they intended it to be used with.  Of course, I could try one or all of the above and see how I like it, but was wondering if anyone has done that already and would be willing to share their experience(s).  I don't really want to keep bothering Patrick with private emails.

people seem to be curious enough to look at this thread, but either no else has tried "keynote" or they don't feel inclined to write about it.  I had one 18g double of it this am in a cappa and it was very good...mostly bass notes, as advertised.  My grind was a little too fine, so I'll play with it a little and see where it goes.  Maybe I'll get it to my press pot one of these days...or maybe not.

For what it's worth, I think chromatic put their espresso blends in black bags. Based on my four visits to their shop, the majority of their business consists of espresso drinks and single cup pour over. I would assume, then, that if it does not come in a black bag, keynote is probably served as a pour over in their bar.

Hope that is helpful.

Yeah, that's very helpful, thanks! I did not know that. The keynote is indeed in a white bag. Well, this is funny. I don't do pour over. I do espresso, Espro press and Aeropress. I own 3 moka pots, which haven't been used in more than 5 years (I think one is brand new too). I also own a Bodum FP, but since I got he Espro press I have used it maybe 4 or 5 times. I'm more likely to get a cona than a chemex...lol.
