I would like a couple of you expert home espresso enthusiasts to try my blend. I have an espresso machine but have had so few espressos from coffee shops that I really don't know how they should taste. I will send out samples to a couple of you and all I want back is your honest opinions. Is this ok to post this? I do roast professionally but the shop I mostly roast for uses the exact same blend and degree of roast for everything...

I'll try.   I can send you my roast for your critique too.  What's your method of roast?

Hi Weebit_nutty. I roast on a US RoasterCorp 5 kg roaster. Go to my website listed under profile and either fill out contact page with your address or send me an email from there with your mailing address. I'll ship some beans. How much do you want?

I'm game. What's the blend and roast profile if you don't mind sharing?

Just sent my info, be cool to try. So you roast for a shop that wants the same roast profile for everything? I've seen a few like that, that works for some blends, but not other beans or blends, I think some just do that so they have consistency across the board (good or bad lol) vs trying to dial each bean or blend and keep track of.

Ok. I've got several of you. I'll post a list and try to answer some things when I get to a computer.

I've got Weebit_nutty, dayglo, CMIN and ET. Did I miss anyone? I've got 5 packages of blend with 12 ozs each in them.

Dayglo, I need your address.

I don't use a data logger but do write down temps from the minute mark and then every 30 seconds so I can get a pretty good profile.

I'd love to try your blend and provide you feedback.  It would be really interesting to pull some shots before you describe what you were going for.  I always feel like the descriptors can be helpful to try and detect certain flavors, but question if it's leading and I'm "searching" for those flavors.
