yes, i video-taped the demise of my $50 piece of molded capresso plastic. and yes, the arrival of my isomac tea as well. and yes, i filmed myself acting like a moron, and yes, it took a year to resurrect the footage into something presentable. and yes, i spent WAY too much time on this music video. and yes, i denuded my portafilter with a CNC vertical mill (same industrial machine they use to punch piston chambers in a car's engine block). and yes, it was overkill.
and yes, i desperately hope this whole shebang gets me a premature "senior member" designation.
UPDATE: there's now a high-quality version of the vid right here: http://ben.szobody.com/isomac2-better.mov warning, dial-up users ... it'll take awhile to load (about 25MB)
p.s. rated pg-13 for multiple scenes of a naked portafilter as well as repeated espresso sensuality. tightwads strongly cautioned.

heh. she is somewhat mortified to have her image now floating around on ye olde innerneck. but, ah, i told her she made the whole thing 'sing.' ... the way she does me.
if i had more web space (ahem) i could post a higher-quality version, in which i think JonR and NYC_Crema would both realize that there are others hot on their trails when it comes to naked shots. and i don't even have a triple basket....

I laughed, I cried, it was better than "Cats". :-D :-D
Seriously, that was great. I especially like the end shot with the capresso out at the curb, as well as the "isomac arrival" scene. Tell me, how many times did you fall over the boxes before finding your masterful pratfall? :-)

My hats off to you! Great video.....plus it makes me not look so much like a fanatic. ;) Though my co-workers think I'm certifiable. Anyways, if you need/want more space, I could offer your hi-res a spot on my website, just drop me an email.
