Hey ozdj, is that grindenstien bigger than most? I've only seen two or three, and they all seemed really small. I've got the sunbeam 'bang bang', which is bigger, but I'm thinking this may be a negative point, as I empty it less frequently, meaning that the pucks at the very bottom are green and moving by the time I tip them all out onto the garden...

mattyj - no, it's just the run-o-the-mill Grindenstein. Probably looks bigger because of the isometric-ish camera angle. I saw the Sunbeam knockbox at the Aroma Coffee Festival while I was having the EM6900 demo'd to me. I'd seen the Grindenstein only 5mins prior (two stands away) and the Sunbeam looked HUGE in comparison.
But I'm lucky to knock out only 10-15 pucks MAXIMUM in a session (which end up in the potted palm trees outside the kitchen) and the Grindenstein has sufficent capacity for that. I really like the fact that it will sit under the Silvia group head when it's not being used.
Look close at the machine picture, the drain comes out the back and goes to a bottle that sits next to the cart (I have a drain bottle and the spare supply bottle there).

That's what I guess I'll have to do with mine. You just drain into a 5 gal water bottle? Any odor issues? I'm guessing the plants in my garden will love the sludge.
