I picked up an Ohaus PS 251 on ebay about 8 months ago. It too weighs down to 0.1 grams, is compact, has a protective cover, and is pretty tough to boot; I've dropped it from the counter top to the floor and it's still going strong.

E-bay, my friend. I picked up some digital scales for $16, they have a touch screen and everything. Just do a simple search and you are well on your way.
