Hi all,

The art is real, but it is not from SBUX.  I made this a month ago, and just dying while waiting all this time to post it on this special day.  I got the T-mobile Hotspot service and go to SBUX often (a block away from where I live) to surf the net, and this cup is from the “double cup” of my hot tea.

In any case, I mean no harm to poke a little fun at the Big Green.  I have to admit that I drink its Grande iced skim mocha once in awhile...

Cheers,

Steve

Steve,

You better hope no ne from SBUX finds that picture or it might wind up in some of their ads sooner or later! :)

I went to a Starbies in Noblesville Indiana a few weeks ago when the local shops were closed, and even though they didn't pour art, the drinks were still very good.  My latte got a little burnt tasting as I got to the bottom, but my wife's White Chocolate Raspberry Mocha was outstanding accordng to her.

The shop there still had a 3-group LM and a barista who appeared to do everything properly.  She definitely has had some serious experience behind the LM.

Hey, can you put that latte art photo together so that it's in a McDonald's cup?  That might be funny also...

Hamm!

I thought that you would enjoy this little prank of mine! So, you want to see a rosetta in a McD's cup?  I'll be happy to comply...

I'll bite. We have a couple of empty 8oz Starbies cups downstairs... so I gotsta pourin'....

This first one... well the rosetta is so-so. Did a heart in an espresso cup side by side for comparison.

Now if only you could get this at a Starbucks consistently, I might at least smile... ;)

Gotta tell you though, I nailed the heart in the espresso. I love delicate, middle-of-the-cup hearts! So much so I may try that for my next latte art pour in the 8oz Starbies cup...
