This may be of interest, made it up about 4 years ago, its a great addition to my work area, use it constantly.

Humble Beginnings - we all have to start somewhere.

This is my 2009 Saeco Aroma with non-pressurized portafilter. Grinder is Ascaso I=Mini I 2. Ranchilio base.

Jon/santalum those are both great.  My personal preference is the one Jon has.  I can see that going nicely with a set of matching handles for my Cremina or Elektra MCAL, or both.
