Over the past 35 years I have enjoyed espresso and this is the current taste bud assault machine. Maybe a lever machine in my future??? Trading other hobbies for the $$$ to expand this hobby!

When the power fails I resort to the Pharos, which produces great grounds, and a Moka pot ;-) This setup is also good for camping and motels.
I think my "Titan grinder" search is over. The Versalab M3 produces the best grounds with great fluff and grind consistency and the ability to go from espresso (the normal setting) to drip and back easily, I just wish the build quality was better. The Kony-E is the speed grinder in my arsenal and the build quality is great!!
As far as a search for a Lever Machine I have been thinking Spring Levers, but not sure which one. I know I don't want the case to bend/deflect when the lever is pulled...
DEC 2012-UPDATE: I ordered a Londinium L-I w/tank/pump Spring Lever machine w/Bosco Group. Should arrive before 2013.
Jan 2013-UPDATE: L-I in the kitchen; thinking about selling the GS/3....
Roasters are starting to creep into my thoughts too {8-O)

Hi Jon, I noticed that you sold the K30 grinder. I would know why you did not care too much about that grinder. That is not only big and also automatic dosing grinder. I supposed that it might be more acurate than most others, and possibly competitive in the market. If you sold it, I could imagine that you do not care of it very much. And you possibly recognised the fact that it was not aso good as it looked like. So, I would ask for your comments about this grinder because I was wandering how good it can be. If good enough, I may get one for trial. Look forward to hearing from you soon. Regards Peter

Hi Peter, Apologies, because I did not see your question until now. Please feel free to send me personal email anytime also, OK?
I sold that grinder in part to help pay for a machine upgrade (plus a new electrical line), and also because I used the Robur with single dosing technique much more often. The K30 is an excellent grinder, especially for serving larger groups. It is amazingly fast and quiet and the dosing is very accurate. The grind quality is perfectly comparable to a Mazzer Super Jolly (also one of my favorite grinders).
Most days I only make a few drinks at a time, and so single-dosing the Robur allows me to enjoy a variety of coffees without changing grind settings and also with almost zero waste. Besides, who needs more than one such grinder in the home?
