In other forums I'm a part of, there are a lot of "daily" threads (pipe of the day, shave of the day, etc.) where members share some info and a picture of their latest whatever-it-is. I thought it might be fun to try one here. If it takes off, great, if not, whatever :D Shot of the day Coffee: Costa Rica Rio Jorco by Alterra Pull: 14g, 26 seconds for 13g yield Other: Glass of Pellegrino, EspressoParts demitasse Notes: Floral, Chocolate Photo So, let's see your SOTD's (shots of the day), or cortados, macchiatos, caps, lattes, coffees, roasts, IDK whatever you feel like posting :D

There's a big difference between drinking coffee to wake up and waking up to drink coffee.

Nice shot, I really like the cup. The Look Out JonR!!!!!! thread was very active once showing naked portafilter shots from 2004 up to 2011 with 304 pages work of posts, but must have run out of steam somewhere along the way. Here's the last shot I took a picture of, Chromatic Coffee's Emperor espresso pulled on my Gaggia Factory. (Click for larger image)

Looks like a nice hefty demitasse, what brand is that?
