From time to time I share two of my favorite links and they are always well received. So that started me thinking about kicking off this thread were we could "share the wealth". I am looking for those post on coffee geek, home barista, blogs, rants what ever reference information you find or found yourself turning to regularly. I am really hoping this will be a killer thread that people find very useful. On the other hand it could flop but if you don't mind sharing and lets keep it neat with titles in the post before the links. Here are two of my favorites:
You know those people that want to tell you how to raise your kids but have none of their own? That is how i feel when someone with a kitchen appliance tells me how the merits or dis-merits of my machine or how to use it.

well, sadly, I don't have anything bookmarked. I've done a lot of cutting and pasting though, so I have several MS Wrod files with excerpts from different pages and threads.
The place I seem to send people to all the time though, is Randy Glass's site... www.espressomyespresso.com , in particular his easy guide to better espresso at home. Article 12 under "How To", about midway down the right hand column.
I was hoping that lots of people would post stuff like you did John, I saved both of those into MSWord from the last time you posted them, and I even printed out Jim Shulman's guide to improved extractions based on taste.

Well we can just keep updating the thread as we find or reference older information. I think it will gain traction but it might take a while. You could link Randy's guide to better espresso for the thread even though you use it from a word document, same dif

Info on Freezing Coffee, this is what convinced me to try it many years ago and I still freeze to this day. It is not a light read but it has a bunch of that science stuff from a legend in the business. http://www.freepatentsonline.com/6514552.html

Actually, I did not bookmark a specific post because when I love what I read, I save the page itself or even subscribe. Some of my favorite sites with great and interesting posts are sprudge, coffeecupnews, and I love coffee.
Pleeeeenty of bookmarks, most of them geared toward a specific topic of discussion, on one specific thing. Like just recently there was a nice long thread on the retention of a robur. Book'd it.
