Paper cup with the bottom cut out, resized and taped to fit perfectly into the basket. Ain't pretty, but it works great.
Funnel rests inside unadulterated cup under the grinder to catch anything stray.
Milk into pitcher Vanilla into milk Turn on machine Remove basket from portafilter Place funnel into basket Tare scale (29g) Position funnel Count to 13 Weigh on scale Flick switch to go just over 18g total dose Mix with wooden chopstick Tap on counter Level off with knife, compressing slightly the excess Basket back into portafilter Tamp with a twist twice Hold over sink unside down, then rightside up to remove any stray ground Lock in place Froth milk Swap the dial over instantly for espresso Remove rubber from wand and wash, wipe down wand Season to taste Remove puck and rinse basket along with pitcher
