... sorta.

Seriously, my espresso has improved much the last few weeks. Since I rarely make more than one drink at a time and I average 1 drink a day, It takes a while to develop a technique. I can say that the V2B went a long way in helping me build on consistency. I pretty much put out one great drink after another these days... and here lately, they have been very good.

But.... it does seem that I find the evening pulls to taste better than the morning pulls... and I really don't think there is any difference. The machine is on all of the time and ready to go, so its not something like the machine is not warmed up in the morning.

Does anyone else find that they enjoy the taste during one time of day more than an other?

I refer to it as state of palate. Try tasting espresso after brushing your teeth or drinking straight carbonated water, or a little lemon juice, or chocolate. Each will reveal different tastes, some good, some not so much.

It is obvious that coffee in the evening taste better than in the morning because once you are tired and thirsty, your taste bud is doing well. Have you observe that you eat plenty once you are hungry? The same thing with coffee, after you are exhausted from your whole day toil, you feel thirsty and looking for drinks that can recharge you such as coffee.

Did you know...? Dark roast coffees actually have less caffeine than lighter roasts due to the fact that the process of roasting burns off caffeine.

because we have coffee taste perception and expectation. My dad always remind me to put higher content of coffee because if not, his coffee would become tasteless. Same goes true for others, who like to make their coffee more creamy, they put more cream or milk content. Anyways, coffee is a great way to share with friends and family especially this holiday season. I found this article useful about coffee and its good. It also gives awesome health benefits we can get when drinking coffee.  http://spinnedandtwisted.blogspot.com/2013/12/coffee-cup-moments.html
