The BGA is currently undertaking the task of writing articles for the publication "Hospitality News".
Our subtitle is "Professional Practices, Courtesy of SCAA's Barista Guild" and we need authors!! We need YOU Coffeegeeks!!
We're looking for articles that will relate to the 'novice'. The basics in 101 with valuable information that the restaurant industry can take into account.
Ideas include: "Fair trade, organic and sustainability, Not just buzz words anymore" "Choosing equipment" "The case for Super Automatics" umm...Jay? "Brewing a great cup of coffee and/or Gold Cup certification in your business" "The Importance of the Grinder" "Espresso: What it is and what it is not" "Steaming and Foaming milk; the proper way" "Latte art; presentation matters"
Ideas and suggestions are always welcome!
Articles will need to be 500-600 words in length, pictures encouraged but not mandatory and a brief bio of the author are needed.
This is a great opportunity for you to reach the "foodies" with your knowledge and wisdom of coffee and espresso preparation.
If you are interested in submitting articles, please contact me.
