Hmmm....I just saw the banner on the top of the page for the shorter shopper Mazzer Mini...WLL has it at $429, which is only $10 more than the Macap M4 doserless I was considering ($419)
Opinions between these two....equal in quality? Anyone used both of them and have an opinion based on familiarity with both?

They are both very well regarded grinders (I have a Mazzer SJ)...the Mazzer is stepless, I don't believe the M4 is...therefore, even with a slightly inferior doser, I'd go with the Mazzer...but I'm a confirmed stepless user. Isn't the stepless Macap only $30 more?...BTW, a doser is not a bad thing, in fact you'll have less clumping of the ground, as the doser helps break them up. With a doserless, I'd definetly incorporate the WDT...Weiss Distribution Technique..where the grounds go into a cup inserted into the basket of your PF...whe explanation of the WDT can be found clickhere

The Macap MC4 doserless stepped is $399 and the stepless is $419 (chris' coffee). Looks like the MC4's are out of stock pretty much everywhere at the moment. :-(
