I don't feel like driving to the shop to check which wires go where, so I'll post the question to you folks. Here's the scoop, I picked up one of our Super Jollys that had a bad switch. Another person removed the switch so I wasn't able to label the wires before disconnecting them from the old switch. I have four spade terminals on the switch labeled (positions) 1,2,4,5 clockwise from upper left. My wires are the black and white from the power source (separate), brown & blue combined coming from the capacitor and coil, and yellow going to the motor.
Thanks for the picture Robert. But alas, my switch (timer) looks a bit different. I'm just going to run to the shop tomorrow and check on our other SJ.
Possibly month/year code (L96), followed by Part # for the timer/switch, 15 Amp maximum current rating @ 250 Volts intermittent, rating in HP Horsepower (½ HP) continuous duty for the switch @ 125V & 250V. One Horsepower is equivalent to 746 watts.
