I just returned a faulty Kitchen Aid Pro Line Grinder. Now I have about $217 in my pocket. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a grinder that is great for French press in about the $200 price range or even better would be one that is good for both French press and espresso. If it's impossible to find a $200 grinder that works well for both French press and espresso, then one that works great for only French press will do for now.

Buy a used commercial grinder, and you won't look back. Something like a mazzer, fiorenzato, La San Marco, Pavoni, Nuova Simonelli, etc. with 64mm burrs. They can be found regularly for under $200, and they generally will fit under kitchen cabinets when used without the hopper. I love my Rancilio MD-50, I traded for it straight-up a while back for my Rocky which cost me $225 originally.
Most any grinder under $200 new will be inadequate for espresso.
