Ciao Evan,

I've seen the PL043, which is sometimes rebadged (for ex., Vaneli's calls it the Mini Pro II). The two models may share some parts in common, but the significant difference, IMO, is in the adjustment mechanism. The PL043 uses a twist-collar adjuster (unlocked by the black tab on the left), while the PL53 uses a worm gear (knob adjuster). Each design has its partisans; the twist collar is better suited for big changes from coarse to fine, and the worm gear is better for very minute changes within a narrow range. In other words, the PL53 is designed as a dedicated espresso grinder.

I just wanted to make a comment on that ad you linked to on google;

I don't want to make any unsubstantiated accusations, but I've seen ebay, craiglist, and now that google thing absolutely loaded with whoever that seller is trying to sell a few lelit products. I've seen tons of marblehead, massachusetts listings on all three places in the past month - I don't know exactly who they are - but as far as I was told 1st Line is the only authorized US importer? Please correct if im wrong - not trying to ruin anyone's sales just throwing out what I thought was an odd observation in the marketplace IMO.
