Hi, I was wondering what a good used price would be for a La Pavoni Zip grinder.

I have an oppourtunity to buy one for $225 Canadian. Is this a good deal? I havent seen it but its in "Good Condition".

Are you talking about the LPin the BST forum? Edit: that is a la cimboli md6

It is an industrial grinder. The new retail is about $800. If it is working well, that would be a good price, esp if tou can pick it up in person and save shipping.

Count on replacing the burrs. $50 to $75 depending on where you shop. It is normal to replace them when buying used.

I don't really understand that first part of your response.

Doesnt matter anymore though.

My new dilemma is a used rancilio rocky 4 years old, one year on  new burrs or a brand new, in the box, never used baratza preciso.
