Guys you're so helpful -= and funny. I'm using cuisinart's machine and will def consider both the sbux option or the manual one. Too bad I can't find more sbux grinders on eBay.... if some of you can direct me as for what to look (does it have to be the barista line of products?), I'll be super thankful .

Thanks everyone. I'm trying to summarize in my mind what I"m going to "take" form this discussion: 1) in my budget, manual grinder is my best bet 2) it'll be better than the sbux machine recommended here, even for espresso. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Based on your budget, the Hario Mini Mill Slim hand grinder will cost you $30.29 shipped. Remember to select "FREE Super Saver Shipping" during checkout. Click Here (www.amazon.com)
The refurbished Baratza Starbucks Barista electric grinder will cost you $69.00 plus shipping. (The shipping charges for mine using UPS Ground from Washington to Illinois were $14.39 for a total of $83.39.) Click Here (www.baratza.com)
Keep in mind, the Hario will take about 2 1/2 minutes of hand-cranking to grind up 18 grams for espresso, as compared to 30 seconds on the electric grinder while you are performing other tasks. Plus, the Hario is best suited for espresso only. The grinds become very inconsistent when you try to grind for pour over or auto drip, etc. Whereas the Baratza Starbucks Grinder has a 40-step range of adjustment.
My personal opinion is you shouldn't pass on the deal for the starbucks grinder. I have just used it to make a shot of espresso with the mypressi Twist and it appears to be out-performing the Hario Mini Mill. But more experimentation is to follow in the coming days.
Meanwhile, here is a ristretto shot I just pulled using the Baratza Starbucks Barista Grinder and the Mypressi Twist espresso device: http://youtu.be/89UKSe-zjU4

I used a Hario Mini Mill hand grinder for 1 1/2 years, exclusively. I jumped on that Baratza deal because I figured I could use it for pour-over coffee, which the Hario is not ideal for. But, of course, I would try it for espresso when it arrived, and see how it compared to my Hario hand grinder. And as it turns out, the Starbucks Barista grinder is just as good as, if not better than the Hario, at least for making espresso with the mypressi twist. Probably due to it having larger conical burrs than the Hario. Plus, I am only using the factory settings. There is a way to go inside the grinder and recalibrate it to get even more espresso settings.

Anyways, I am too looking for best bang for you buck grinder under 100. However I have a professional blender, the vitamix. I was wondering if I can use that to grind my beans? It has low to high setting which is good. But would it most likely be hard to guage how fine I want it to be with a blender?
