Subject: Basic issue with Muhlenbau/Mahlkonig VTA6s OR powering commercial equipment.

So, the most basic troubleshooting question of all time:  Is it plugged in?  Nope, but apparently I need help with that!  I don't know much about electricity, so I'm wondering if someone can help me see if I can run this thing.

Long story short, a Muhlenbau (mahlkonig VTA 6s, older model) grinder falls into my lap.  Not literally.  Ouch that would hurt as it weighs about 100 lbs.  I get it home and realize it requires voltage that I do not have in my house.  So, I checked my girlfriends place and she as a 250V (?) outlet for her electric stove.  It has 3 prongs.

The badge on the grinder says:
2100 W
208 V
3~
9.0 A
60 Hz

Again, I don't know anything about electricity.  The grinder seems to have 3 power cable attachments at the body.  Only 2 are connected, does this mean it's set up as 2 phase?  Does it matter?

These 2 power cables go to a box (background of picture) which has a reset button.  then the main power cable comes out of there which has the main power cable.  The power adapter has 4 prongs as pictured.  The plug itself says 20A-3Ø-250V.

So, I'm wondering how I can get this thing running.  Can I use an adapter and plug it into the stove's receptacle?  Is there some other way?

Thanks!

From the name plate rating and the plug info, you have a 3 phase 208 grinder. Im a little confused when you say "3 power cable attachments but only 2 are connected". It does matter if its 3 phase and you hook it up to single phase (what you refer to has 2 phase).  What your going to spend to hook it up or damage the grinder, I suggest you sell it on ebay. One like this just sold for $400..

Someone stole a grinder from Peet's???  ;^)

Call an electrician.  DON'T mess with it yourself!

I think you can see in this picture what I meant.  There are 2 cables and a place for a 3rd (white cap).  I thought that maybe this meant that someone reconfigured it from 3 to 2 phase (?).  Those two cables go into a box which I guess might be a phase inverter?  Meaning the main plug takes 1 phase which is then split?

It's possible that someone stole it from peet's, but it wasn't me!  I really don't need to grind 6 lbs of coffee in a minute, but I was thinking it would be great to try some side by side taste tests with my vario for some perspective on grind quality.  Ultimately I'll try to sell or trade it, but I want to make sure it works first.
