Grinder: Capresso Burr 555 Drip: Moccamaster CD

This grinder is used in several Japanese owned specialty coffee houses that I frequent. I love the look and the size, but I only see it at certain places and looking for opinions on it and where to find it in the US.

Tiamo, a Taiwan manufacturer, is handled-- so far -- by Orphan Espresso. They brought some products in for evaluation, but I don't know if they intend on actually carrying them.
FWIW, I'm not very impressed with the grinder you cite. Although it's difficult to say anything definitive about the grinder, as details are frighteningly scarce on that website: a) the burrs are flat, not conical; b) they look a bit small (though this is difficult to tell, as there are no specifications on the website); c) it appears to be stepped; and d) at 2 g/sec. -- if correct -- it will take approximately eight seconds to grind a 16 g. double, roughly on par with the Baratza Vario.
That said, it's vaguely reminiscent of a Mahlkönig EK-43 grinder (not to be confused with the EKK-43), but these are retail (bulk) grinders.
