$100 is not much at all for a powered burr grinder.
Is there a reason you NEED a conical burr or is this a buzz word you picked up on? Just wondering out loud, no judgement from me.
The lower end B referb are about the best value for a "new" motorized grinder, avoid the consumer grade "grinders" at retail outlets, most are not much more than fancy whirley blade grinders with a "burr" added to the name to fool the consumer, these are referred to here as PSUTO burr grnders.
There is no free lunch, you need to pay for results.

Using a conical burr as in the skerton has given me the most consistent coffee grounds, no dust, no chunks, just consistent coffee grounds, which in my experience has given me a more consistent and replicable cup of coffee. Design wise, it seems logical that conical burr grinders are less expensive than flat burr grinders, and I also like the slower speeds used by conical burr. $100 is what I am willing and able to spend... and thats just that...
