For those who are unfamiliar with Massdrop, it is a site which hosts group buys for products and the final price is determined by how many participants take part in the deal. Right now the current price of the Vario is $400. With 3 participants it will drop to $375 and with 6 or more participants it will drop to $359. There is 6.5 days left on this group buy and nothing is charged until the end. I am planning on upgrading from my Le'lit PL53 to this grinder and thought I would share this find with everyone else.

Welcome fellow SD'er. I came here to see if this was mentioned or not. I am on the fence, and I guess I can think about it for a day or two. Thanks for the post.
I just put in my order as well, we are getting the $359 price! I will probably be keeping the PL53 for awhile though for french press as I hear the Vario will have fines mixed in on coarse settings. Plus, I might gift my PL041 and PL53 as a matching set to a family member when I finally upgrade the machine as well.

That's an incredible deal. I really regret just buying a lelit grinder now. I feel like selling it and getting this one. Is it really that much better than a pl53?
