Hi all,
I just picked up a used Saeco Estro Profi with the built-in burr grinder.  I know a few of you have had this machine, maybe I can get Dana to throw his two cents in.

So you know the scenario - the saeco came with the pressurized portafilter, so the grind and tamp aren't so important (and it's fake crema crap - I know, I know), but to upgrade to the non-PPF you need a good grinder.

So to those of you who have used this machine - is the built-in grinder passable enough to bother getting a non-PPF??  I currently have no budget to upgrade the grinder.

Thanks,
Victor

Was there ever an answer to this question? I'm thinking of doing the same and passing it on to my son.
