Subject: Frequency of burrs replacement?

Any recommendations on frequency of burr replacements?  I've had my Rancilio Rocky for about 5 years (1 to 2 grinds per day) and suspect the burrs should/could be replaced...seeking others' experiences.  Thanks.

Although I once owned a Rocky, I don't know how long their burrs last.  Here's what I know about other grinders, info obtained from the manufacturers...

Baratza/Solis 166 (38mm steel conical set): replace burrs after 1,000 #s of coffee
Macap M4 (54mm steel flat set): replace burrs after 400kg of coffee
Mazzer Major (83mm steel flat set): replace after 600kg of coffee

Now, pebbles, other foreign bodies and nicks and scrapes caused by tools like screwdrivers, may require one to need more frequent replacement

.
Always remember the most important thing is what ends up in your cup!
