I'm a new member to this forum

I have owned a Tre Spade Il Macinino grinder since 2009 and only used it for my espresso machines. Now it is time to change the burrs and I found a kit online. However, I can't find any instructions on how to actually change the burr.

Can any of you Coffeegeeks help me, please? I would be very grateful!

With coffee greetings

It's a pretty simple machine:

Inside the hopper unscrew the 3 screws. Take the hopper off.
Remove the worm gear screws and remove the worm gear.
Then you can unscrew the adjustment ring including the top burr.

From there I haven't opened it up further.  You should have access to the top burr.  Bottom burr is quite accessible once the top has been removed.

Glad it works for your espresso.  I can use it for my La Pavoni lever, but I can't use it for my semi-automatic machine without trouble.
I don't use mine for coffee anymore, but I use it for coarse grinding of grains and spices.  Got mine for $6 at a thrift store, so I'm very happy with it for that price.

WARNING, WILL ROBINSON!! The nut that holds the bottom burr on is REVERSE THREADED, undo it in the clockwise direction. You'll need to hold the bottom burr in place with grips. The top burr pushes out of the carrier, it's a friction fit.
