im new to forum and wondered if anyone has every been able to do latte art in takeaway cup?? I use triple cardboard cups and cant get the latte art to go as well as I can in china cups does anyone have any tips or points for it ???

Latte art in to-go cups is tricky because they are steeper than your typical mug. What works best for me is to tilt the cup as much as possible when trying to start the latte art, almost to the point where I feel like I am going to pour the drink out onto the floor. Pour aggressively.

I'll take a picture of one of mine tomorrow. I promise, it's just as possible as in porcelain/ceramic. I don't have any tips for you, though. And in fact, I've generally found pouring in paper to-go cups to be easier than for-here cups, because there's less surface area to worry about.

it is as easy to do latte art in paper cups and china cups. My trick is to be a little more agressive in pouring the milk in take-away cup. Start your design a little bit earlier as youll have less surface to shape it. A 45 degree angle a start, slowly going back to vertical when close to top works well for me. The designs you'll see in paper cups are similar to china cups; mostly hearts and rosettas. Hope this helps
