HEY GUYS AND GALS, I'M NEW TO THE GROUP AND SUPER EXCITED TO START MY FIRST POST.

I'M TRYING TO REBUILD A VINTAGE LA PAVONI EUROPICCOLA AND UNFORTUNATELY NEED A NEW HEATING ELEMENT. THE NUMBERS ON THE SIDE OF THE MACHINE STARTS WITH A LETTER A, SO I BELIEVE IT IS FROM THE 60'S. DOES ANYONE HAVE ONE THAT THEY ARE SELLING OR KNOW WHEE I CAN GET ONE?

Thanks and sorry. I bought my gaskets there but didn't see any heating elements for my machine. Was hoping a member had one for sale

You might try contacting them....they have parts for almost anything.
And you can also post in our buy/sell/trade forum looking to buy a heating element.

I think they might have missed your mail or maybe it got filtered by the junk filter? In my experience, they have a pretty good communication with the customers(and non-customers). But due to the nature of their company - OE is mainly run by 2 person, Doug and Barb, and they just can't do everything perfectly from taking order, shipping, repairing, and answering email etc etc. And I think answering email probably has a slightly lower priority among all the chores, but be assured that they do reply emails with a very thoughtful manner, and not automated boring response. Also, due to their helpfulness and knowledge in vintage levers which they very often have no obligation in answering, I believe they get tons of emails every day on top of the business.

So, my take is, maybe try sending a message to them again? They almost always reply me in a few days (sometimes even in the weekend).

Try contacting them through here http://www.orphanespresso.com/crm.asp?action=contactus
