Ryan, I can't answer any of your questions, but that won't stop me from throwing in my own 2¢ . . .   ;^)

I have an Elektra "Sixties" T1 HX machine.  I have had zero desire to upgrade over the past 3+ years that I've owned this machine.  But that doesn't stop me from lusting after a 2-group Mirage Idracomprosso from Kees van der Westen . . . or maybe a BOSCO.  Doubt I'll ever get one mind you, but the "allure" of a commercial level is  . . .  shall we say, "enduring."

I could be sold on the Elektra. :)

So okay, I'm willing to increase my budget. (I just don't want to spend 6k.) So where do I look? Where can you get a BOSCO in the US? (Is it really a long wait for it, because that's a big turn-off.)

I thought the Strega looked interesting, but I guess not huh.

Thanks!

So what are the alternatives to the BOSCO? It's a month wait and 5k. Is the Izzo Pompei comparable?

Thanks.

For a BOSCO, contact Reiss Gunson at Londinium.com.

I think Caffè Vita in Seattle are their US distributors.

The Pompei is the one I'd love to have!  I'd love to hear more about it.

The Kees van der Westen Mirage Idrocompresso is only $9,521.86, and takes 2-3 months' minimum . . . .
